Many Factory CAR Collapsible M4 Style Stocks do not have a QD Sling Mount. You can do a sling that connects to where the buffer tube screws in, but you have to remove the buffer tube to do it. Ruger went as cheap as possible on the butt stock. They picked the only Magpul that doesn't have a QD on it. It probably would have cost then $2 more per rifle to get a better Magpul stock.
